She's a Girl!

This morning we had our ultrasound, which we attached for your viewing pleasure. Her legs were spread eagle, so within seconds we knew that she was positively, 100% girl. Her heart beat is strong, she has all her healthy parts,(we even counted all 10 toes) and she is constantly moving. James and I are so excited! The video is just a small clip of the ultra sound, so you won't see the part indicating that she's a girl, but we promise she is!

18 Weeks Pregnant & Growing!

If you haven't heard yet, I am 18 weeks and 3 days pregnant... but who's counting. I am growing bigger and bigger, I swear by the day. I know I am getting fatter by the obvious roll or mound over my jeans, but I didn't realize how much bigger I truly had gotten until I tried on my old black and white button up poka-dot shirt. Not only could I not get it to button, but I couldn't get the sides of the shirt to even touch! Yeah, thats a good feeling. :)

What is a good feeling is that we get to hear its heart beat monthly, which is a fabulous reminder that there actually is a human in there and not just cellulite. We also get to find out very soon (Friday, June 12th) if it is a girl or a boy! I am dying to know... in fact this morning I lay in bed counting how many days that is until we find out... I'll save you the time. Its 10! James and I are excited for either gender and have no names picked out yet, but will get working on that once we know which it is. We'll keep you posted!
