Our Trip to Florida

We loved the beach!

I am now 26 weeks. (Translation for non-prego people= 6 months+) I have officially popped out big and look without a doubt pregnant. This picture above is solid proof of that! I thought, "At least I had a chance to get more tan in Florida... maybe that will help disguise it." Didn't work. Still big.

My aunt and uncle taught James to water ski. I was so proud!

James gave me for mother's day plane tickets to visit Lindsay in Florida. So we could be "prego" together. It was so fun to feel not alone in this crazy new experience and spend time with her and Scott.

We went to a Rays vs. Oakland A's game. The Rays won 6 to 0.

We ate lots of Cuban food. It was very yummy!

We went to Disney World for free with Brad Schram, who works there. Very Fun! James was chosen after multiple auditions to be on American Idol at Hollywood Studios!

More fun pictures of Lindsay and I showing our pregnant tummies. Sadly, she is 7 months along and I'm only 6. She is looking great!

My Delicious, Horrifying Late Night Snack

Last night James and I stayed the night at James' parents in Duncan, AZ. We had an early dinner of macaroni salad and squash and then nestled in their couches to watch the Diamondbacks lose again. Around 10:00 when his parents went to bed and the little neices and nephews were fast asleep, James and I were hungry again for a late night snack. (Not a big suprise for a pregnant woman who's quite often hungry.)
So we surveyed the kitchen for something lite... wishing for the yogurt I accidently left in Safford. We both decided a small bowl of cereal would do the trick. James pulled out honey bunches of oats...Normally I would have the same because I do enjoy a flaky oat cluster, but for some odd reason I reached for the rice crispies. Odd to say the least. I haven't eaten rice crispies outside of a marshmellow treat in ages. But I thought that last night it might just hit the spot and that I should maybe go outside my comfort zone a little. See... I can be wild and spontaneous from time to time!
Anyway, there I stood in the kitchen eating my bowl of rice crispies in the dark, not wanting to wake anyone. I was enjoying the cereal and had eaten over half when I took a step toward the kitchen sink. The moonlight from the window over the sink cast a ray of light onto my bowl. With my mouth freshly full of a large bite, I glanced down and saw my rice crispies moving... moving quite alot. Now I know they snap, crackle, and pop, but move? I held the bowl up to the window and stopped chewing midbite for further examination. My bowl was full of weavels!.... AAAAH! Delicious!
